Refund policy
We hope you’re happy with your purchase from Made by Mariye, but we understand that sometimes in life things just don’t work out!
If this is the case, here’s what you need to know:
We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
We only process returns of Made by Mariye items that were purchased online at www.madebymariye.com.au. Items purchased from an independent stockist cannot be processed by us and must be returned to the store where the purchase was made.
We do not offer exchanges.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
HOW TO PROCESS A RETURN
Step 1 – Return Request
- To start a return, please contact us at madebymariye@gmail.com. You will need your order number and email address
- Tell us the Item code of the item/s that you would like to return
- Tell us a reason
- Send us your return request mail
Step 2 - Return Request Number
- We will either approve or reject your return request. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a Return Request Number
- Write the Return Request Number on the back of your invoice and return this invoice with your item
Step 3 – Return the Item to us
- Pack up your item with all it’s original packaging/tags etc and send to us with the invoice and Return Request Number
- We recommend using Registered Post as it is trackable and we must sign for the delivery. The item is your responsibility until it reaches our studio
- Please return to us within 7 days of your Return Request approval
- Once your item reaches us we will process your return within 5 business days
Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, we aim to process your refund within 5 working days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
- We can only offer refunds to original method of payment
- The purchaser is responsible for the cost of returning the goods to Made by Mariye
- We cannot be responsible for goods damaged in return transit
- Please retain the postal receipt so you can reference the tracking number to confirm the return of your items to Made by Mariye
- Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards
- We do not accept returns on earrings due to hygiene reasons

Custom products (such as special orders or personalized items) cannot be returned

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception. In the unfortunate case you have received an item you believe to be defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, please don’t hesitate to contact us at madebymariye@gmail.com during business hours. Keep all packaging and take photographs so we can assess your issue without delay.
- We recommended sending a photo of the item showing the affected area to madebymariye@gmail.com
- Faulty items will be assessed by us and we will repair, replace or refund on a case-by-case basis
- We follow the ACCC guidelines and reserve the right to repair if possible in line with our sustainability values
